More than just a thrift store
Salvage Society Thrift Store and Donation Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating training and employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals through meaningful work experience, skill development, and pathways to competitive employment.
We accept cash donations, gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and household items, allowing us to maintain a constantly growing and ever-changing inventory. Every sale from your donated item helps people dealing with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Intellectual Disabilities. At the same time, we give shoppers access to high-quality secondhand finds at affordable prices.
Our physical store is located in Gardena, California. However, you can also purchase items on eBay.
